Man today was a mess. whywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhy
I hate seeing Jess like this, she's just torn. I don't understand it, I'm never going to be able to understand it. I wish it was all a joke, but it's not. I can't even imagine being in her parents' shoes, thinking why did this happen? Obviously no one knew this was coming. She had so many friends and it just kills me to see all of them so hurt. God I don't understand what it could be that would make you take your life, and I never will, never ever ever. I wonder if she wanted to stop, but couldn't because it was too late? We'll never know. I wonder what she was thinking and feeling, but we'll never know that either or even begin to understand.
This is tearing by dad absolutely into shreads. She was a great basketball player and in general an awesome athlete. We need her on the team. The girls have a game on Tuesday, that is going to be so hard, along with practices. I just wish she could have seen the good in herself. I just feel so bad about these last few weeks because Spencer would hang out with her and Sam and it would just bug me so bad. I never was mean to her about it, but I'm pretty sure she knew it bothered me. Even if she didn't care about it, I still feel like a pile of crap. Other than that, she was always one of my favorites of Jessica's friends. I never knew her on a deep personal level, but her and Jess were really close. Goddd I just feel sick about it.

I was talking to Aaron today and he was saying how he doesn't like many people anymore. Haha, then I went on to say, "yea well not many people like me either so oh well".. and he said "yea you're right, but when I ask them why, they say I don't know, I don't have a reason." That just sounds like complete stupidity and it makes all the people that say that look like idiots. Funny how most of the people that this is qualifying for always talk about how they won't talk about others behind their backs, haha good one. I know what they say, people tell me and just laugh at how ridiculous it sounds because it doesn't make sense. I have done nothing to anyone.
I know that when I try to be nice and talk, I know I'm just going to get talked about the second I walk away. Why should I talk to someone who acts like that? Well, I don't really care if anyone likes me or not, I'm just saying this because it needs to be said. I have the greatest friends in the world and I don't want to change a thing.
I'm not going to apologize for anything I've supposedly done.

AHH! school is so great this year! I've loved everything so far. I know I'm probably the only one who sorta likes westwood, but really it isn't that bad. My friends are great, homecoming has been fun so far, himmmm*, and everything else besides homework. I even think that school has become more leanient(sc) than last year?? Maybe that's just me. I guess I've just always enjoyed going to school.
I'm excited for the game friday, we better win- first time in 7 yearssssss:) The dance shall be fun too. Sar, Sibs, Kelly, and I made cool shirts and jeans for the game, so hopefully the weather is semi-nice.
I'll hear from Minnesota in about 2 weeks:-/ I'm pretty sure I'll get in, but it's still nerve-racking. the U is so awesome. Even if I don't get in, I'm still going to go there for the campus tour and sleepover in November. Maybe they'll take you partying?? lol, that'd be niiice.
I'm just kinda bored. I'm sure no one reads this so oh well. haaaa

Chicago was quite an experience. First of all, we were in the ghetto.. downtown Chicago. Our hotel was ridic, one bed & a roll out- online reservations are a JOKE. So we got there, and headed to the stones concert. SOO MANY PEOPLE! The concert was pretty good, although they were promoting their new album coming out in a few weeks- a bigger bang. Some of the songs sound okay besides the ones written by Keith Richards.. I didn't care too much for them. Everyone was drunk, and I mean everyone over 21. Even though we were in Soldier field, an open stadium, you could still smell pot everywhere haha. I'm so glad that was the last family vacation with my dad. I said when I move away, I'm only sending 2 tickets.

Godd I'm soo tired! The meet yesterday went really good suprisingly. I came in 17th with a time of 23.07, I don't know how good that is, but as of right now I'm 2nd in the conference behind Kaitlyn Owen of Munising. I guess I'm pretty happy about that.
So my birthday was yesterday:) My friends are so awesome! I come to school and they had made these sweet ass t-shirts for the 5 of us. Mine said "SPANK ME it's my birthday" on the back hahaha. So I went to the meet, rushed home, and headed to Houghton with Janelle, Sibs, and Poi. Riiiidiculous- even with having to stop for construction and getting stuck behind a truck going 55... we made it in one hour and five minutes!!! hahaha;) The boys won. Beth Hintsala had it announced over the speaker that it was my birthday, then the crowd and the cheerleaders sang to me.. it was hilarious:) We didn't stay till the end of the game 'cuz it was rainy and cold... but Drew said that at the end they were gonna sing, but they were all so tired haha- oh well. After the game, we went and visited MUTTI at his dorm!! whoooo I miss him dearly. 5th year sucks without him:(
We came home, waited for Danielle, and headed to Tino's around 12. Actually we got there at like 11:58 and rushed there because we had to be there on the 1st for sure. The guys showed up and Nel brought me a cake:), so we ate it. After that, we all went back to my house. Most stayed until around 3, but Spencer and Drew just slept over.. it was a lot of fun! I love my friends so much, they always make my birthday the best ever:)

My friends have some surprise planned for me. God knows what that is:)
I have a meet tomorrow at Presque Isle, which I'm kinda nervous about. My knee is killing me and it hurts to walk, but I guess that's what you get for putting in around 30 miles a week, thanks coach. After that I'm rushing home and me and my favorite gals are heading to the fball game in Houghton. GONNA SEE MATTHEW DAVID KOSKI! fuck yea:) Once our boys win, they're gonna sing happy birthday to me on the field, or so they say.. who knows. And, well, since it is the 1st of the month, after the game we're going to Tino's. 4 m o n t h s :( Then most likely people are coming to my house after, I'm pretty excited, should be a good birthday.
Man, I'm just so screwed up right now. I haven't talked to him in 2 days. What is wrong with me, seriously? I'm the anti-boy, anti-boyfriend.. and now I'm sitting here actually sad! I really don't know what I did. alskdjf I feel so shitty.

Well, the Minneapolis trip was successful.
I wish I could pick up all my friends and put them in the cities, I hate Ishpeming. I like didn't want to leave. I kept pretty busy, like shopping, doing new things downtown/uptown, and eating at funky places. Hmm, didn't see Eric at all. I guess he's working 2 jobs now, so it's not like I can get mad about it. I'm not really disappointed, whatever.
So I go for this "Sneak Preview" at the U, and it's like what the fuck am I doing here? This professor gets up there, puts on a powerpoint and starts talking about Cytosine deamination into Uracil or something? Maybe I was just misunderstanding him but whhhhhhat, Thymine turns into Uracil, not Cytosine. Sorry, just totally frustrating. This is obviously stuff that no one in the room understood, whatsoever. Kinda makes me wonder if I'll ever be smart enough to get myself into a science field. Some of the projects that undergrads have to come up with are just ridiculous, maybe I should stop doubting.

Ahh I'm soo tired from today. We made a total of $324!! Since me and Jess had to split our money, I only got $60, but that's still good for one day:) Idk what I'm doing tonight. Cole wants me to go to his house- "huge party". I don't know if I feel like partying, I'm pretty tired. I need to save my energy for next week. I have to run to Milwaukee and back on Monday. Thennn, I leave for Minneapolis on Tuesday afternoon until Sunday. I'm pretty excited- I should be really busy with stuff, maybe even too busy for anyone who lives there;)

I can recall ONE time where I ditched plans with my friends to be with a guy. Thing is ERIC LIVES IN MINNESOTA and comes up at random times with no warning!!! And I at least told them what I was doing instead of not calling them at all!!! She still talks about that on occassion. Sorry, you all probably know who I'm talking about, and I feel bad saying it in here but I need to get it out.
I leave for Minnesota in 2 weeks, hopefully i'll get a few grad pictures out of the way and do them somewhere cool??
